In the last few years, she attended One Community Church, where her Grandchildren were members.   She was known for her singing and the remarkable way she played the tambourine.

She is truly loved by her daughter, son in love and grandchildren. We will miss her dearly.  She left us with a beautiful gift. To love God and honor him with our life. She will be remembered for so many things.  She loved her family, and made sure that her children and grandchildren, spent time with her brothers and sisters, and their children. Family meant everything to her. It was important to her that, they knew their roots and where they came from. She always went back to Bienville Parish, Louisiana to visit family and to attend the Annual Church Homecoming Services and tend to her parents, sister and other family members graves.

All of her grandchildren loved her cooking. From the lemon pie they all fought over to get the last piece, to the spaghetti, Angel has perfected  to the turnips, the best baked chicken in the world, pinto beans, muffins , hamburger steaks, and the world’s best biscuits and tea cakes that Taelor learned  to make.

She was lovingly known as, Grandmother, Grandmomma, Little Blue Eyes and Little Clotey by her Grandchildren.
