Gwendolyn J. Williams Fields was born October 10, 1962 to the late Mable Williams Powell and O’Neil Williams Sr.  in Shreveport Louisiana. She received her education in the Detroit public school system. She also accepted Christ at a young age.


 

She later moved to Dallas Texas where she met her soulmate the late Jimmy Fields Jr.Gwendolyn worked as a caregiver at Atria Senior living, then later worked at Spring Creek until her health declined. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, she also did volunteer work at Abundant Life Church. Gwendolyn has been a member of Abundant Life since 2005. She loved worshiping and praising the Lord.


 

Gwendolyn made her transition from this life Monday September 7, 2020. She was preceded in death by husband Jimmy Fields Jr.,her mother Mable Powell, and sister Sandra Givens.


 

Gwendolyn Williams Fields leaves to cherish her memory: two beautiful daughters Juana Fields and Annette Fields, as well as one grandson Jimmy Judah Fields, her father O’Neil Williams Sr., brothers Jeffery Williams, O’Neil Williams Jr., and Patrick Williams; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
