Obituary of Cornelius Young
Cornelius Young, age 92, of Dallas, Texas died Saturday, October 3, 2009 at VA North Texas Health Care System. Mr. Young was born April 26, 1917 in Itasca, TX the son of the late Frank and the late Gertie Lee (Thompson) Young. He served in the Army from 1942 to 1946 during World War II. He was employed by D. I. S. D. as a Teacher. Calling hours will be Wednesday,
October 7, 2009 from 12 Noon – 6:00 PM at Black And Clark Funeral Home, 2517 E. Illinois Ave., Dallas, TX. The funeral will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Munger Avenue Baptist Church, 3919 Munger Ave., Dallas, Texas with Rev. W. C. Davis, Pastor officiating.
Burial will be at DFW National Cemetery on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:30 am.
