Obituary of Troy Allen Birdsong

Mr. Troy Allen Birdsong was born October 18, 1943 to Fluis and Vinola Birdsong in Linden, Texas.  He received his education at Fairview in Linden, Texas.  He went on to Prairie View A&M where he received his bachelor’s degree.  He then joined the United States Army and was honorably discharged and returned home to marry the love of his life Ms. Rosie Laverne and have been married to her until death parted them on August 4, 2020

  Troy was a faithful member of Carver Heights Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor D. Carter.  He is preceded in death by his son, Marcus Birdsong, parents, Fluis and Vinola Birdsong and brother Elroy Birdsong.  He leaves to cherish his memories:  His loving wife of 51 years , Rosie L. Birdsong, sis-n-law, Shirley Allen of Kennwick, Washington, brother-n-law, Otis Jackson of Pasco, Washington, niece, Kimberly  Birdsong, God-daughter, Jada Page, one aunt, Lou , a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Troy had a loving spirit filled with compassion and vibrancy., he will be truly missed.
