Felix Salter Junior was the oldest of eight children born to the late Felix Salter, Senior and Mobile Salter. Felix was born in Timpson, Texas in 1922 having four brothers and four sisters with four proceeding him in death. Felix left Timpson, Texas at an early age and moved to Dallas, Texas, where he lived until moving to California for a short time. Felix worked several jobs before moving back to Dallas.




Felix married Evelyn Coleman and to this union three sons were born Donald Salter, Gregory Salter and Wilbert Salter.


Felix retired from Borden’s dairy after 39 years of service and worked with the Dallas independent school district as a bus driver for 10 years afterwards. after retiring. from the school district Felix and his son Gregory owned and operated a charter bus service Salter Adventures . in 2001 Felix married Lenese Lyles who proceeded him in death.


Felix was a master at playing dominoes. He won multiple trophies that he was very proud of and anyone that played with him know that he would talk noise and have you confused(smile). he leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Donald Salter and Gregory Salter grandson Wyatt Salter great grandson, Rashad Salter great grand daughters Diamond and Mahlaya Salter daughter Annie R. Edwards grandson Eric Edward’s Melvin Edward’s Harold Edward’s granddaughter Shelia Edward’s stepdaughters Meomi Lyles,Joyce Wright and Angela Woodard, Connie Wallace stepson S T Ross two sisters Eunice Fay Mack Mildred Ray Salter brother Lovis Salter ; and a host of other relatives and friends
