Life Reflections

 

Dianne Renee Lowry, a beloved mother, sister, niece, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025 at the age of 62 year old with her loved ones surrounding her. Dianne’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her family, friends and her remarkable strength.

 

Dianne was born on August 7, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Sammie Lowry and Juanita Wilson. In 1980, Dianne graduated from Hirsch High School. Once graduating, Dianne started her journey of ongoing traveling, where she moved to San Antonio, Texas, later followed by Tacoma, Washington in the late 1980’s.

 

At a young age, Dianne accepted Christ and was immersed within the Christian community, that served as her life long support. She made sure her daughter, Juanita knew God and accepted him personally into her life. Dianne always kept her faith in the Lord. Dianne was an active member of Mt Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. She was apart of the Women’s Mission called the Esters Circle and Nurses Guild.

 

Dianne was known for many talents and abilities. Her passion was in the medical field, where she became a nurse. Dianne graduated from Renton Technical College in August of 1989. Dianne’s career spanned over 30 years, touching the lives of countless patients, colleagues, and families. Dianne was known for her gentle voice, touch and compassionate care.

 

Outside of nursing, Dianne was blessed with a large and loving family. She shared special relationships with each family member, providing guidance warmth and constant support. Dianne had a smile that lit up every room, and she always left a lasting impression on all who she had the privilege of knowing her. Dianne was a devoted mother to her only daughter, Juanita, who was her pride and joy. Though Dianne faced health battles throughout much of her life, she never allowed them to define her. Instead, she lived each day with an inspiring sense of courage and grace, finding beauty in life’s small moments and always appreciating the people she held dear.

 

Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, Sammie Lowry and Juanita Wilson; Brothers, Dwayne Lowry, Lamont Lowry, and John Webb Jr. Dianne leaves to cherish her memories: Daughter; Juanita Lowry- Bennett; Sister: Kim Lowry; Brothers; Tony Wilson, Keith Wilson (Linda), and Glen Lowry and host  of other relatives and friends, including the children she raised and embraced as her own, Kevin Wright, Latisha Veal, Marcus Webb and Kyrah Webb.
