Billie Jean Nobles Obituary

It is with profound sorrow and deep love that we announce the passing of Billie Jean Nobles, of Dallas, Texas. She passed away peacefully at her home on July 6, 2025. Born on December 21, 1956, in Tulsa, Oklahoma she was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and cherished friend, whose warmth and compassion touched every life she encountered.

She is survived by her children Archie Nobles Jr. and Sherena Carter, her life partner Glen Eldridge. She was preceded in death by her son Charles McAlister, her mother Elsie Hubbard, her father Billy McAlister and her dear aunt Rosa Lawson; but also leaves behind four cherished children, as well as her sisters along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.

She was a woman of immense strength, quiet grace, and boundless generosity. Her home was a sanctuary — not just for her children, but for her many nieces, nephews, and the countless friends who found comfort, guidance, and love within her doors. She welcomed everyone with an open heart and open arms, offering a place of peace and acceptance that felt like home to all.

Known for her deeply caring and empathic nature, Billie Jean was someone who saw the needs of others even before they were spoken. Whether through a hot meal, a listening ear, or a kind word, she gave of herself freely and without expectation. Her altruism was not a passing gesture but a way of life — a legacy that continues to live on in the lives she nurtured and the hearts she healed.

She was a powerful force that held her family together, the bridge between generations, and the safe harbor during life’s storms. Her love was unconditional, her kindness unmatched, and her presence unforgettable.

Though our hearts are heavy, we celebrate a life lived in love and service — a life that made the world softer, warmer, and kinder. Billie Jean Nobles will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the laughter of ALL the children she helped raise and through the love she gave so freely to all.
