Life Reflections
Marilyn Ann Johnson was born on March 31, 1960 in Terrell, TX to Ellia Ree Johnson, and the late Robert Lee (Joe) Johnson. She departed this life on Sunday, October 26, 2025 surrounded by her family.
She accepted Christ at an early age, was baptized at the Greater Memorial Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor G.A. Sneed. Marilyn was a faithful member of New Greater Memorial Family Church under the leadership of Pastor Kelly W. Austin.
Marilyn attended William B. Miller Elementary, Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. High, and Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, Dallas, TX. Class of 1978.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee (Joe) Johnson, and her grandparents Ms. Bertha Sands of Forney, TX, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sanders of Tyler, TX.
She leaves to cherished her memories; Mother, Ellia Ree Johnson, her 2 Sons, LeDomineek Johnson and DeMarcus’PaPa’ Johnson, four Sisters; Ruby Johnson, Barbara Murphy (Wilmer), Sandra Johnson (Douglas) and Gwendolyn Dunham all of Dallas, TX; one Grandson, Devante Johnson, two Great-grandchildren, her two special childhood friends, Elizabeth Price Duggan, and Vickey Lee Johnson, and one Aunt, Doris Caldwell. A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
