Reflections of A Life Well-Lived

Frankie W Burford Was born in Tyler, Texas on October 2,1948 to Zelmar Frank Burford and Ruby Faye Burford. Frankie was first born of what later became 2 kids. Frank was a big brother a year half later. His life was good as a young boy, with his grandmother who held a very special place in his heart. He was reared in Tyler, TX until the BIG moved to Dallas, TX where he Graduated from Booker T Washington High school in 1967. He went on to El Centro for 2 years before joining the U.S Marines in 1969. Joining the U.S Marines allowed him the Opportunity to see other parts of the World.

Upon coming from his Service to this Country in 1973 with Honorable Discharge, He started his career as a Drafter for Texas Instruments for many years. Before going into the Family Business of Landscaping. He had been a Landscaper before anything. He enjoyed being in the yard, Bowling and playing Lotto. He also loved his neighborhood, Classmates (Bulldogs Forever).

He preceded in death by his Parents Mr. Zelmer Frank Burford and Mrs. Ruby Faye Burford, his brother Mr. Donald Ray Burford and his true Love Vernice Glenn.

Frankie Wayne leaves to cherish his memory his Daughter Mrs. Rebecca Lewis (Christina) bonus daughter Kelly Magruder, Neice and Nephew and a host of cousins, family, neighbors and classmates.
