Life Reflection

Robert Eugne Lewis was born June 25, 1944 in Marshall Texas to Jack Walker and Gertrude Lewis and raised by grandparents Rev. Joseph B. Sr. and Rebecca Lewis. Later by his step grandmother Pauline Lewis.  Robert was educated in Marshall and graduated from Pemberton High Senior School in 1962 where he was his class President.  Robert dedicated his life to Christ at an early age in Marshall.

Robert joined the United State Airforce shortly after graduation and served through 1968.  In  the Airforce he was trained as an Electrical Technician.   After his service he returned to Texas and the Dallas area.  He worked for several electronic firms in the Dallas area before joining the US Postal Service in similar roles.  Robert retired after thirty years of service to USPS.

Robert was preceded in death by his Grandparents JB Sr, and Rebecca Lewis, step grandmother Pauline Lewis, His Mother Gertrude Lewis-Harmon.   His Uncle JB Lewis, Jr. and his son Clarence Williams. 

He is survived by his sister LaMata Lewis, brothers Richard Edward Harmon (Paula) and Ronnie LaVelle Harmon (Gina) Cousins, Deidra Lewis Collins and Joseph B. Lewis, III, God son, Joseph B. Lewis, IV, God daughter, Kendall Lewis and a host of friends.
