Priscilla Marie Arnold Obituary

Priscilla Marie Arnold Obituary

Priscilla Marie Arnold was born April 13th, 2002, to Anthony Arnold and Amanda (Cantu) Arnold at JPS Hospital in Fort Worth, Tx.

As a child Priscilla was very energetic and playful. She was full of love at an early age and loved to cuddle up next to her Grandparents and family dog.

In her elementary school years Priscilla developed friendships that would last throughout her life and showed a musical talent for playing the flute. In 2010 Priscilla and her parents welcomed the birth of a new family member, her younger sister Isabella Renee Arnold. Priscilla was overcome with excitement to become a big sister and always cherished the bond that her and Isabella shared.

In Priscilla’s middle school years, she continued to show her musical talents, playing flute in the Shackleford Junior High Band and also participating in athletics on the volleyball and basketball teams.

She went on to attend Lamar High School where she was part of the Lamar Viking marching band for 3 years. While at Lamar she excelled academically and participated in the schools nursing program. Priscilla graduated from Lamar High School in 2020 while being accepted to Texas Weslyn College in Denton and Prairie View A&M in Houston.

After high school Priscilla attended Dallas College and worked as a phlebotomist for a short time. She had aspirations of becoming a labor and delivery nurse. In 2024 Priscilla was diagnosed with sex cord-stromal ovarian cancer. She approached this next journey of her life with the same optimism and determination that she approached everything. Although Priscilla was able to fight through her first recurrence of cancer she could not fight through the second. After a two-year battle with ovarian cancer Priscilla passed on July 12th 2026 due to complications caused by ovarian cancer. She passed peacefully surrounded by family.

Priscilla had a magnetic personality, an infectious laugh, and a smile that could light up a room. She was a very thoughtful person who always wanted to see others enjoy their time with her. She was the life of the party, always telling stories, making jokes, keeping everyone laughing and keeping the energy of the room on 10. She was truly loved and will be missed by all that knew her.

Priscilla’s life continues to be celebrated by her parents, Anthony and Amanda Arnold, older sister, Kayla Arnold, younger sister Isabella Arnold, grandparents Glenn and Kelly Cantu and Karen Arnold, younger cousin, Naomi Cantu, boyfriend, Treyveon Butcher and numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and friends. Priscilla, you will shine in our hearts forever. #FOREVERCILLA.
