Obituary of Mary Kathryn Dennis

Life’s Reflection

 Mary Kathryn Dennis (affectionally known as Kathy), daughter of the late Charles and Mary Russell, was born January 4, 1945 in Donora Pennsylvania, and gained her heavenly wings December 8^, 2023. 

Kathy attended school in the Donora Public Schools and graduated from Donora High School. 

Kathy met and united in holy matrimony with Raymond Alexander Dennis (Deceased) in 1963 and they lived a joyous and fruitful life together for 55 years.  Raymond and Kathy made their home in the Washington DC metropolitan area prior to moving to the DFW Metroplex; at which time they decided to make Texas their forever home.  Kathy was a member of St Mark A.M.E. Zion Church. 

Kathy’s greatest love outside of GOD was the love of her family.  She often doted on her children and grandchildren who she was very proud of.   She loved to fish, sew, visit the casino and cook for her family. 

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond Alexander Dennis, and her siblings, William and Charles Russell.

Kathy leaves to cherish many fond memories, Five children, Kenneth W. Stewart (Elora), Raymond A. Dennis, Karmin M. Gaffney (David), Dion J. Dennis, Aphrihl Dennis-Barrie (Michael); two brothers, David Russell and Joseph Russell; niece like a daughter, Saran A. Lashley; bonus daughter Resha O. Baker (Eric), Grandchildren, Raymond, Kenisha, Raylin, Kendall, Tasia, Natoria, Diona, Alexandria, Khylan, Terray, Rayshon, Kaila, and Michael; Great grandchildren,  Malachi, Gabriel, Elana, Rajai and Kameryn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends that adored her.
