Obituary of Catherine Miller Catherine Farris-Miller was one of the nine children born to the proud parents, James Farris Sr. and Lee Anna Kennedy- Farris in Dallas, Texas on September 19, 1926. The Lord called her home on Monday, September 26, 2016. She accepted the Lord and was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. Catherine graduated in 1944 from Lincoln High School in Dallas, Texas. She loved taking care of her entire family. Catherine was united in holy matrimony with Wilbert Miller (who preceded her in death). She was employed as a domestic worker in Texas, from which she retired after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Earl Farris, Marvin Farris, Clemmie Farris and James Farris Jr. And her three sisters Ethel Mae Beal, John Lee Reid of Seattle, Washington and Brenda Farris-Moore of Dallas, Texas. Catherine leaves to cherish in her memory five loving children Ocie Nealy Jr. (Margaret), Chavis E. Miller and Mario Miller. Her daughters Katrina A. Miller and Glenda J. Miller. Her sister Verlie Mae Coffield. Her grandsons Keith Jackson(Josie), Rosh Nealy, Jason Miller, Kenneth E. Miller (preceded her in death), Treasured grandson Antonio P. Miller, Dedric R. Miller, Cedric L. Miller(Tara), Uriah G. Miller. Her Two special granddaughters Teanna Nealy and Audreanna Harton. Her special niece Amanda P. Moore(Corey). And a host of loved nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, friends and acquaintances.
