Sammy Davis Jr., was born on the 9th of April 1959. He was the eldest son of six children to Sammy and Doris Davis. He received his formal education in the Dallas Independent Schools. Sammy worked a total of 15 years, at Corner Bakery and out of those years, 8 were as a Trainer, he was an excellent cook. He joined church and accepted Christ into his life. His smile and personality were filled with vibrancy. Those who knew him were touched by his loving spirit. Our heavenly Father released Sammy Saturday, March 10, 2018; He is preceded in death by his mother, father, 1 sister, Regina Davis, Maternal grandparents, Mathis and Berta Carraway, paternal grandmother, Jesse Davis. The celebration of his life and legacy continues with his sister, Alice Davis of Dallas, Texas, 2 brothers, Donald Davis of Dallas, Texas, Anthony Davis (Shari) of Talco, Texas, 2 aunts, Annell Mackey, and Pearlie Ratliff, 1 uncle, Roy Carraway (Barbara), a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
