Obituary of DeRoyal Darnell Talley

DeRoyal Talley, Jr., was born on March 3, 1999, in Dallas, Texas. He was the first child born to Joyale Billard and DeRoyal Talley, Sr., who preceded him in death. DeRoyal was a dedicated employee at McDonald’s for two years where he was respected and admired by his co-workers. DJ, or Talley as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, was known for his infectious smile, encouraging others, and cracking jokes. DeRoyal attended Dallas Can Academy. DeRoyal departed this earthly life on December 7, 2018. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Janice Billard; maternal grandfather, Charles Stewart; aunt, Samantha Stewart; and maternal great-grandmother and great-grandfather, Arjean and Frank Billard. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Joyale Billard; step-father, Damorian Robertson, Sr.; his siblings, Randesha, Damorian, Jayce and Jasmine; maternal grandfather, Clinton Baker; paternal grandfather, Ronell Talley (Faye); paternal grandmother, Mary Price; godmother, Erica Polk (Brandon); godfather, Lekel Mills; godbrother, Zion; aunts, Sametri, Vita (Jason), Lakisha (Frank), and Clintrica; uncle, Clinton, Malik and Johnny; great-aunts, Evelyn Conner, Sandra Hicks, Yvonne and Michelle; great-uncles, Juanse, Ricky, John and Daryl; his special friend, Tatyana Williams; and a host of other friends and family.
