Always enjoyed seeing him and his daughter Dr. Sharon Larkin come to the Radiology dept.
They were always so nice and friendly. I worked many years at St. Paul as CT/X-ray tech.
He will be missed.

He was won of the finest men of character that I have ever met. He was all the things you would want in a friend and mentor.
His medical brilliance, love for his family, dedication to improving the lives of so many in the Black community he grew up and worked in and his endearing smile and wit will have a lasting impact on me. He always gave great advice.
He also loved his cars. I remember how happy he was when he first got his Bitter. I had never heard of it. But in true Dr. Larkin fashion, he was always on the leading edge of everything technical and mechanical. He taught me how having gold connectors on your audio cables enhanced and purified the transmission. His home audio and entertainment system was always state-of-the-art.
His dedicated work with the CV Roman Medical Society was unmatched. His creation and support of the inaugural Annual Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation Fundraiser, featuring the 5th Dimensions, a fashion extravaganza with Dwight Bird and the Kim Dawson Modeling Agency and a Art Exhibit and sale featuring the finest Black Artist in the Southwest, in cooperation with Rhett James, was groundbreaking and saved the Dallas Chapter from financial ruin. It continued for 5 more years and became one of the premier Black Tie events in Dallas, raising more money for Sickle Cell Anemia research and testing than any effort in Dallas History.
Truly a class act that I will always have fond memories of. Rest In Peace my friend. Job well done.
