My sincere condolences for the lost of your loved one.
The Bible assures us of a real hope, and the one thing Almighty God cannot do is lie.
(Titus 1:2)
WHEN we lose a loved one in death, we may become overwhelmed by grief.
“The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Jesus’] voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29)
May the precious hope of a resurrection to life on a paradise earth comfort all who have lost loved ones in death.—Acts 24:15

To the Mitchell family, the world has lost a treasure. God broke the mole once he created Bro. Mitchell. Every since I existed there’s was only a Charles & Linda. All of my year’s at St. Luke as a baby til adulthood, there was a Charles & Linda. I remember when Keith was born. He was such a cute little boy with a head full of hair, and EVERYBODY wanted to hold him at church. I remember how Traci would walk around with him hanging on her hip while his mama tickled those keys, and his dad made that organ sing its own hymn. This loss hurts down to the very core of who we all are. Nikki and Keith, the road ahead will seem lonely, at times even down right cruel because you have lost your father, but you must gather up the strength to continue on and to be there for your mom. Her hurt right now and the days to come will be overwhelming because she has lost not just a husband, but her BEST FRIEND, her LIFE partner. She will need your arms to hold her, your shoulder to cry on, and a ear to listen when all she wants to do is ramble off at the mouth about their memories. JUST BE THERE. God Bless You All, and know that you are sincerely in my thoughts and prayers. From: Sandra Sanders

To Sister Mitchell and The Entire Family,
Where,oh where would the City Wide Youth For Christ Choir be without Bro. Charles and Sister Linda Mitchell ? Hundreds, if not thousands of young people have come to know Christ, and sing Psalms for The Lord Jesus through the ministry of Bro. and Sister Mitchell,as they fervently prepared all of our Young Voices each year, to minister during the Annual Youth For Christ Night of the Dallas Baptist Ministers Union CITY WIDE REVIVAL ! You both taught us THE WAY to sing to The Lord with Excellence ! Because of your prayerful, intentional, faithfulness to The Lord in Music Ministry, so many from the Dallas Citywide Youth For Christ Choir have gone forward to Minister in Music the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the country and around the world. Please know that you labor has not been in vain. Thank you for sharing your love and your ministry with us. Heaven surely has gained a Precious Musician in Bro. Charles Mitchell !

Deacon Mitchell welcomed me, when I came to Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in 2007, when I joined. He would always say, you better come on and sing with us, until I finally did. I will truly miss this fine man of God and pray for his family's strength for this journey!
