She was a baby when Paula let me hold her. I didn't feel a 'presence', but knew then, that she had a 'presence'. I spent some time with her and Mom at the mall a couple of times and I felt as though she were my own daughter. I'm reminded of her laughter, her beautiful smile and how her eyes were as sparkling as the stars. I didn't know this during her formative years, but I have had a bond since I first held her.
After she joined Dr. Adams -- who 'was' my Ophthalmologist -- I traded up to Lauren. She seemed to recall many of our times together while growing up. She was also a very good Doctor and very gracious.
I cannot fathom why she was taken from us so soon, but know that she is shining brightly in the house of God and making her 'presence' known to all others in his Kingdom.
