Obituary of Charles Edward Bowie

Charles Edward Bowie transitioned to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. He was born on May 4, 1969, to the parentage of Charles Hicks (deceased) and Myrtle Bowie in Dallas, Texas.

Charles received his formal education in the Dallas school system, graduating from Roosevelt High School. He was employed with Dart Container Corporation.

He professed his faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Believers Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Pastor James Earl Goss. He later moved his membership to the newly established Joyful Tabernacle Church, under the leadership of Bishop James Garthell Goss and Pastor Shelia A. Goss, where he remained a faithful member and Deacon until his passing.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Frances V. Bowie; daughter, Christina L. Herford; son, Devonte L. Herford; mother, Myrtle Bowie; brothers: Theophilus Bowie and Michael Satchell; and a host of nephews, nieces, family, friends and a Church Family who will dearly miss him.
