Obituary

Daniel LaVal Hollinger was born in Gerome Idaho on April 22, 1959 to parents Laval and Joan Hollinger.  On December 27, 2020, at T Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Dallas, Texas, Dan lost his two-year battle with cancer.

Dan worked as the scouting and Placement Director for the Kim Dawson Agency for twenty-six years where he was responsible for launching hundreds of successful modeling careers.  His keen eye and vision played a vital role in developing the image and creative direction of the agency, helping it to become the powerhouse it is today.  It was there he met, signed, and managed the career of his future wife and the love of his life, K.T.

Dan served in the men’s ministry of both Denton Bible Church and Lake Pointe Church.  He was particularly passionate about teaching the Quest for Authentic Manhood course where he mentored many young men in growing their relationship with Christ. He studied art at Brookhaven College where he developed his passion for painting large abstract canvases.  His adoring wife created the perfect gallery for his stunning pieces in their home in Rockwall, Texas.

Daniel Hollinger is proceeded in death by sister Marsha Hollinger. He is survived by parents Laval and Joan Hollinger, loving wife K.T., brothers Kevin and Kyle, son Blake, daughter Georgia, daughter Vivien, and son Samuel.
