Kilven Dwayne Boyd was born on February 2, 1957, in Dallas, Texas to Loistene Punch Boyd and Franklin D. Boyd.

 

Kilven grew up in Dallas, Texas and received his formal education in the Dallas Independent School District and was a 1975 graduate of South Oak Cliff High School. Kilvven worked professional rolls and later he worked in retail design at Dallas Market Center. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Paul E. Walker.

 

He united in marriage to his high school sweetheart the former Sandra Taylor and to this union 2 sons were born (Corey and Keitron).

 

He was an avid fisherman.  He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and especially loved his 5 grandchildren.

 

Kilven passed away August 9, 2021.  He leaves to cherish his memories, sons, Corey Boyd and Keitron Boyd, 5 grandchildren, Keitron II, Corian, Kamille, Christopher and Ariyanna, His beloved Mother, Loistene Thompson, 2 sisters, Debra Boyd Pruitt (Emanuel), Beverly Kemp (Tampa), 3 brothers, Kenneth Boyd, Marcus Thompson and Stetron Thompson (Kimberly) and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins’ other relatives and friends.
