To the Nixon Family
We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Joan Nixon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this hour of great sadness. It is during moments like this where all of us could find peace from words of comfort that is shared with us. I know that the many family members and friends will be there for you. God will also be there for us. The scriptures tells us that God is a God of all tender mercy and comfort.( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) Yes God is willing to share words of comfort to all those who have lost anyone in death; and He does. So directing your hearts to the sacred writing, please take note of these words of comfort that God provides. At John 5:28-29 God tells us that He would soon cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave, and that our love ones would respond by standing up in life again. Yes God tells us about the resurrection hope that He will provide for His earthly family. From this text that speaks about the resurrection blessing, God is giving us His personal guarantee or promise that life for a great host of people will surely take place. Then to help all to develop strong faith in His promise, God takes the time to preserve nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the grand blessing that is near at hand. Here is just one such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Joan, and a great host of others who await their personal awakening from the deep sleep of death. Yes soon the earth will become filled with those who will stand up in life again because of the resurrection to life taking place. Just imagine the sound of joy and laughter filling the whole earth. Yes we have much to look forward to. So in closing we say please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For God does not lie. (Titus 1:2)
