James M. Mayfield was born February 7, 1955, in Dallas, Teaxs to James and Ira Mae Norman. He was the eldesst of 5 children. He received his formal education in the Dallas Public Schools. In 1977 he left to serve in the United States Military. He was proceded in death by his parents, nephew, James Dominic Norman and brother in law, Archie L. Woulard.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories, children, LaKeitha, Kelvin, LaCrystal (Dre) and Geneva (T’Lewis), siblings, B. Joy Norman Woulard (Archie), Debra Norman Jones (Harold Lee), Paul Wayne Norman (Jimmie), Rodney Boyd (Sharisa), 1 nephew, Jarvis DeLeon (Breannah) , 2 nieces, Bre Sims (Alex) and Jerdevi Deshena , a host of cousins other relatives and friends
