To the Dixon Family
On behalf of the Caldwell family, we take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Larell Dixon. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this hour of great sadness. For the moment, we have once again entered a period of gloom. We understand why, we have lost another person who was truly special to many. And so now we find ourselves going into the house of mourning.(Ecclesiastes 7:2) However our stay in the house of mourning will not continue for all times. God has revealed to us that he would soon reverse the effects of sin and death upon His earthly family. In God's love, He tells us about a time period when he would begin to raise to life those who have fallen asleep in death. This promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. Yes God will call, and our departed love ones would respond by standing up in life again. Just imagine when Larell, and a great host of others will hear that calling and stand up to that wonderful promise from God. Today we are ever so near to that loving calling. The scriptures clearly indicates where we are in the stream of times, when this resurrection blessing will take place. Until then, we can use this time to learn all that we can to be presence when this arrangement takes place. Reading and applying what we learn from the scriptures is very important. Then there is the nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the resurrection blessings that will take place earth wide. Here is just one such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Larell, and a great host of others who await their personal awakening from the deep sleep of death. So please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes a reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. ( Titus 1:2)
