Obituary of Keylisia Demetris Shaw
Keylisia “Lisa” Demetrice Shaw was born July 26, 1974 in Monroe, Louisiana to the union of Katie Tyeskie and David Brown. Keylisia received her education through the Dallas Independent School District.
Lisa accepted Christ as her Savior and began her Christian journey at an early age. She was a member of Genesis II Christian Center under the leadership of Rev. Reginald R. Roberts.
Lisa worked many years for the Garland Independent School District serving breakfast and lunch for kids. Lisa’s passion was to provide children nourishment, guidance, and care daily. Lisa tremendously impacted the lives of children.
Lisa was very outgoing and loved to sing and dance. She loved spending time with family and friends. She found joy and happiness in making others happy. She will forever be remembered by all as a woman that was caring, giving, and loved by many. Lisa was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to many. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Lisa.
Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents Mary and Ben Shaw, Neoma and Alfred Brown, Sr., Stepfather, M.T. Tyeskie, Jr.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons Brandon Anderson, Jr (Shayana), Broderick Shaw (Kabash); Mother, Katie Tyeskie, Father, David Brown Brothers, M.T. Tyeskie, III, (Donielle) Roderick Brown, Grandchildren, Josiah Anderson, Jh’joh’ana Anderson, Demetrice Shaw and K’mari Shaw and Niece Ayani Tyeskie. Lisa also had a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
