To the Duffey Family:
On behalf of my family, we take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Betty R Duffey. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this moment of great sadness. I know that the family members and friends will be there for you with great love and support. We must also keep in mind that God will also be there for us. As the scripture's states, God is a God of tender mercy and comfort. (2 Corinthians1:3-4) On this day, God is taking the time to remind all who are grieving at heart over the loss of a loved one, about the resurrection hope that is ever so near at hand. This comforting promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. In these verses God tells us that He would soon cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Yes, this promise serves as a future guarantee that the resurrection to life will take place for Betty, and a great host of others who await their personal awakening from the deep sleep of death. Just imagine what this time period will be like, as we witness with our very eyes our loved ones standing up in life again. Can you not hear the sound of joy and laughter filling the whole earth? Until then, we can use this time to learn all that we can about the resurrection blessing that is near at hand. There are nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this wonderful blessing from God. Here is just one such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Betty, and to billions of others in this grand arrangement to come. So, we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
