Obituary of Winfred Thomas Colbert Jr

Winfred Thomas Colbert Jr. was born on May 1, 1978 in Houston, Texas. He spent his early childhood in Houston, Texas and Stamford, Connecticut and was baptized into the Episcopal Church while residing in Connecticut.  He moved with his family to Fort Worth, Texas in 1989 where he formed many friendships and personal bonds.

Winfred was a free spirit, hard worker, and had a quick and often comedic wit and personality.

On December 1, 2021, Winfred was called to eternal rest.

Win Jr. is survived by his parents (Winfred & Denise Colbert), son (Nazmir Koonce Colbert), brothers (Terrance Colbert and Jonathan Rahming) sisters (Kristina Sterling and Jessica Rahming), step-brother (Joshua Gatson),  first cousins (Ashley Colbert and Jonathan Colbert), uncles and aunts (Wynell and Leonardo Neece, Joy Pettit, Stephana Colbert, Jonathan and Mabel Colbert, and Patricia and Ken Freeman), nieces (Kiara El-Amin, Aaliyah Colbert, Xakiela Garcia, and Amina Garcia) and numerous other cousins, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces.

He was preceded in death by mothers Carolyn Joyce Moses and Thelma Quince Colbert, his paternal grandparents (Winfred J. and Granville Colbert), and maternal grandparents (John Moses and Lula Moses).
