To the McMillan Family:
With heavy hearts, we take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Flossie McMillan. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, and friends of the family during this hour of great sorrow. No, there is never a welcomed time to hear about the passing of anyone in death. Death only serves as a reminder of how far the human family has fallen from God's original purpose. All today can be thankful that God has not forgotten about us. He well knows the many hardships that we are dealing with and has given us His promise that He would soon rid the earth of all things that causes pain and suffering. (Revelation 21:3-4) However, all should find great comfort in this next promise that God makes known to people everywhere the live. This promise deals with the restoring of life back to those who have died. The promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. As the verse's states, that God would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. From this one promise, God is giving us His personal guarantee that people like Flossie, and a great host of others will live again, and be reunited back with their many family members and friends. We understand that many may manifest a lack of faith in this promise arrangement. We certainly understand why they may feel this way. After-all, they have been seeing their loved ones die right before their very eyes. So, to help all to develop strong faith in this promised arrangement, God has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this arrangement from God. Here is just one such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Flossie, and a great host of others who await this promised arrangement from God. In closing we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it will become reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
