Obituary of Marvin Earl Davis

Please share a memory of Marvin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Marvin Earl Davis, Sr. born April 12, 1951 to the late Evelyn Davis Smith, and Earl Moore.

He accepted Christ at Munger Ave. Baptist Church, but later joined Wynnwood Fellowship, where he attended until he was no longer able due to his health.

He is survived by sister Min. Marian D. Nash; son, Jason Kemp, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Marvin graduated from Booker T Washington High School in Dallas, Texas. Marvin was actually a great artist and a very creative decorator.

He went on to technical school, earning his vocational degree in Auto Mechanics. For most of his career he was a auto mechanic. Yet, he was also a printing press operator.

Marvin had a passion for life. He loved entertaining! He could always be found spending time with his family, friends and neighbors alike. He also loved fishing, and would find time to sit at a pond or lake and drop a line. Earl loved to cook, and eat (lol). He loved a great gathering. He was a fun loving brother.

He took after his late father in his dressing. He would not be caught in public without looking his best! He believed in dressing to impress! You could count on him to compliment his wardrobe with a fresh Kangol or fedora to complete each look! We all loved "Earl" or in the old hood he was known as "peach-head."

God loved him the most! Our loss, but heavens

gain! - John 3:16
