Obituary of Mark Dwain Webster
MARK D WEBSTER WAS BORN TO THE LATE THERESSA JERNIGAN & JAMES L WEBSTER (VENELLA WEBSTER STEPMOTHER) ON FEBRUARY 12, 1952 IN MT PLEASANT TEXAS. HE ACCEPTED CHRIST AT AN EARLY AGE. MARK WAS A MEMBER OF MT, GILMORE BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE HIS FATHER WAS THE PASTOR FOR OVER 40 YEARS.
HE GRADUATED FROM MT. PLEASANT HIGH SCHOOL IN 1970 BEFORE ENLISTING IN THE U.S. NAVY FROM 1970 – 1974. FOLLOWING AN HONORABLE DISCHARGE, MARK WENT ON TO GRADUATE FROM BISHOP COLLEGE IN DALLAS. HE WORKED AT THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICES FOR 25 YEARS WHERE HE LATER RETIRED. MARK WAS A FAITHFUL MEMBER OF LOVING FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH UNTIL HE RECEIVED HIS WINGS.
MARK WAS A LOVING, JOYFUL FREE SPIRIT. HE ENJOYED WATCHING THE DALLAS COWBOYS WHICH WAS HIS FAVORITE NFL TEAM. MARK NEVER HAD CHILDREN OF HIS OWN BUT HE RAISED HIS NIECES AND NEPHEWS LIKE THEY WERE HIS OWN. HE WAS KNOWN AS UNCLE/ DADDY TO MANY AND WILL FOREVER BE CHERISHED.
MARK IS PROCEEDED IN DEATH BY HIS MOTHER & FATHER( AND THREE BROTHERS: WENDELL TURNER AND RICKEY JERNIGAN, JAMES G WEBSTER HE LEAVES BEHIND HIS FOUR SIBLINGS: SHEILA LEWIS (HAROLD), GLENDA TURNER-INGRAHAM (JOHN) ROBERT TURNER, BARBARA JERNIGAN AND A HOST OF NEICES AND NEPHEWS.
