Obituary of Bridgette Nicole Kemp

On Monday, October 31, Bridgette Nicole Kemp, née Smith, passed away at the age of fifty. She was preceded in death by her son, Breylan Jermaine Smith, who was called home in 2013.Of titanic character and boundless compassion, Bridgette is a beloved daughter, mother, wife, and friend to many whose lives were impacted by her work and love. She is remembered by her parents, Shelia Harris, Harvey Smith, and Leslie Coleman; her son, Jeffrey Clemmons; husband, Kevin Kemp; brother, Markus Smith; aunt and nieces, Sonja, Shonta and Shatavia Mathis; daughter-in-law, Brandy Jones; and, granddaughters, J’niyah and M’aleigha Smith. Having achieved so much and touched so many in life, her legacy will endure for many years to come.
