There are not enough words to describe what a great human being Sis. Alvastine Taylor Carr was.
She carried herself with such dignity and grace. She was the epitome of a lady. She was an such inspiration .
She was a former educator and worked with my dad, Rev. H.A. James, Jr. at Oliver Wendell Holmes Middle School.
And when I was just a little girl; my parents would often speak of her with such kind and loving words.
And I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to be in her presence in my adult years.
She was highly motivated in winning souls to Christ. My fiance’, William Ferguson and I will miss her dearly.
God truly blessed the world with an angel here on earth by the name of Sis. Alvastine Taylor Carr.
