REMEMBERING A GREAT AN AWESOME MUSICAL EDUCATOR!
Over the weekend I attended my High School Director, Ms. Lett's funeral with some of my choir/band classmates!
Most of you know that the Lord blessed me with a "Golden Voice To Sing" and under her extraordinary musical guidance she taught me how to use my singing voice to tell stories and how to sing in plays/musicals and selected me to lead the "class song" during pep rallies. I also won countless gold medals (yes, don't judge I still have some) singing opera and foreign languages during UIL singing competitions through-out the DFW areas and during my graduating year my class voted me as "1984 Most Talented Female".
It was awesome running into her a years ago as an adult and she mentioned how proud she was of what I had become!
Thank you Ms. Lett, for all of your musical contributions that you gave to me personally and the countless of students that came behind me! Rest in Heavenly Peace!

Mrs. Lett was a true inspiration. She believed in me when I didn't believe in myself as a kid. I was Alto section leader in the concert choir at Carter High School under her tenure in the late 70's/early 80's. She encouraged me in choir and drama. I was forever moved by her caring spirit. My deepest condolences to her family.
