Mrs. Hunter was my 7th Grade Texas History teacher at E.H. Cary Middle School. At the time as a kid, I thought “Wow! This teacher is REALLY tough and mean.” However, I later realized that she truly cared about her students and wanted us to be the BEST we could be. I kept in touch with Mrs. Hunter over the years through my friend (her granddaughter) Becky and her daughter Virgie (my Sorority sister) and often visited with her in her home. I know she knew I loved her very much and to this day remember some of the lessons she taught me way back then. Mrs. Hunter will be missed here on earth but we know she is resting with the Lord. Mama Ola, well done thy good and faithful servant! Praying without ceasing for the Hunter family. Love to you all!
