To all family and friends, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Many have found true comfort in the pages of God's word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). In God's word we find the promise that we can be reunited with our loved ones (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15). The Bible tells us where this happy reunion will take place (Psalm 37: 11, 29; Matthew 5:5). We are told why we die (Genesis 3:17-19; Romans 5:12), and that Jehovah, the God of the Bible (Psalm 83:18), will end death forever (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3,4). At John 8:32 Jesus said " and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free". For more information please visit the website jw.org.

My heart aches for Miriah, Miya, John-Michael, Jr. and the Jones, Brown family to lose recently in death your precious loved one John-Michael after just 23 way too short years, way too young, way too soon. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. Words are so limited that can give comfort, so I would like to share with you a beautiful scripture where Jesus makes us a wonderful promise at John 5:28, which says: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." . Our heavenly father promises us to do away with man's worst enemy, death at Rev. 21: 4 which reads: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. The Bible also enlightens us at Hebrews 2:14 "so that through his (Jesus) death, he (Jesus) might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. John 6:40 Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. I offer my sincere condolences to the family. Feel free to contact me at my email address: [email protected] May these promises give you hope, comfort and peace in your time of grief. Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away to the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to one another, That, we still are. Call me by my old, familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effect. Without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same that it ever was. There is absolute unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you. For an interval. Somewhere. Very near. Just around the corner. All is well. On behalf of the staff at Lincoln Funeral Home and Memorial Parks, we would like to extend to the family and friends of Mr. John M. Jones our most sincere thoughts, our heartfelt prayers, and our deepest condolences. Physical death of a loved one is never easy, however, we can always find comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father has provided a perfected, everlasting spiritual life for us to transition from this life to. It is our prayer that your family has peace in the passing of Mr. Jones knowing that he is resting in the presence of God.
