Joseph Seamster Obituary
Joseph Seamster was born to Lola B. Abrams and Love A. Seamster on September 1, 1948, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Both of his parents preceded him in death. Joseph shared a very special bond with his three brothers: Harvey Thomas Hill, Clark Hill, Jr, William Seamster, all proceeded him in death. Joseph is also preceded in death by his first wife Brenda Kay Seamster.
Joseph attended the Webster -Parrish Independent School District where he obtained his education.
Joseph’s family relocated to Dallas, Texas and made it home.
He worked for DTS-Dallas Transit System (known today as DART- Dallas Area Rapid Transit) as a city bus driver for a number of years. Jospeh was also employed at Safeway Trucking Company in Dallas as a Truck delivery Driver.
He accepted Christ in his heart and was a formal member of the Greater Ideal Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas under the late Pastor L. D Thomas.
Joseph loved his family and friends. He was an outstanding pool player and enjoyed playing dominos. Joseph was a dapper dresser as he had a taste for fashion.
