My name is Veatrice Thurmon, I met Carolyn at the Desoto Senior Center, she always came in smiling and very friendly, I told her she couldn’t play dominoes with me after she beat us several times, she would just laugh, such a pleasant attitude, she will be really missed at the center. I’m missing that happy laugh and how she enjoyed herself at the center . We loved her❤️❤️❤️❤️

Carolyn was a very caring, friendly and considerate person. I met Carolyn at the DeSoto Senior Center approximately two and a half years ago. We became friends shortly thereafter. In fact we often exchange phone calls and text messages almost every day after spending time at the Center playing card games, dominoes etc. We referred to each other as “Sister/Friend”. I’m going to miss Carolyn so very much. With love and tribute to My Sister/Friend until we meet again, Annie Rangel
