Steven Evans was born September 12, 1964 and called to his eternal rest on January 4, 2024. Steven is proceeded in death by his father, John Evans, sister, Kim Evans, brother, Anthony Evans and son Jermaine Garrett.

Steven started his career path as a carrier and later became an entrepreneur, successfully starting his own Janitorial Service Company. Steven was a loving son, brother, dad, uncle, papa, great papa and friend. Steven loved spending time with his family and friends. Steven was a sports and car fanatic. He was in a car club and a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys as well as many other teams. He had a comical personality, never missing an opportunity to make someone laugh with his constant jokes. Anyone that knew Steven knows, there was never a dull moment in his prescience. In his down time, he loved watching food shows to find his next restaurant with his right hand man, Erik Evans.

Steven leaves behind his loving mother, Birdie Evans, sister, Cathy Blakeman, brother, Bruce Evans, daughter, Stephanie Simmons, grandchildren, Nya, Brandi, Aaliah, Ryan, Isiahja, and his great grandson, Noah “Lil’ Man” Kemp as well as a host of family and friends. Steven will be greatly missed by so many but forever in our hearts.
