Mr. Daleroy Andrew Stewart was born on November 1, 1978 to his Mother Beatrice Anderson and Father Charles Stewart in Vero Beach, Florida.   Daleroy grew up fast working with his father by the age of 8, in the  fruit  groves in which he also learned to drive.  He was known as the Gentle Giant in his Neighborhood in Gifford Manors.   Although he was a big fella he was humble and mannerable to most, but he didn’t play any games or take no mess in which he later on earned the nick name “DEBO”.

Daleroy attended Vero Beach High school, Graduated in 1997 this is where he grew a love for football and was considered one of the ones who made it out.  He earned his Bachelors in Science with a  Degree in Sports Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, in Hattiesburg and Graduated in 2001.

Daleroy  also achieved one of his life long dreams when he was drafted into the National Football League in 2001 by Americas Team the Dallas Cowboys where he played as Defensive Tackle until 2004.  He was later traded to the New York Jets in 2004, San Franciso 49ers in 2004 and Houston Texans in 2005.  He retired his Football Career with the Dallas Desperado’s (AFL) from 2006 - 2008.

Daleroy transitioned to Corporate Career Life after football where he worked for Team Accounting Group - Venturity  from 2003 - 2006  as AP/AR Assistant. McCathern LLP. from 2006 - 2018 where he served as the Outside Support Manager.

His love for football was so strong he later gave back to the community he lived in helping youths and Volunteer Coaching for the Vikings Football Club in Duncanville, Texas.  He was also the coach of his youngest daughter Camille’s soccer team, the Chargers in Cedar Hill, TX

Daleroy was a phenomenal man. He Neverminded to help anyone even a stranger in need was a friend.  He feared nothing and was always the life of the party and stayed ready to party.  Daleroy’s love for fishing is what taught him how to be patient.  Fishing was a get away for him, he would sit out at the fish creek or the Ocean and even spend the night if he didn’t get a bite, he was not going home empty handed and fishing was his get away from the world.  He loved gambling, and playing any type of game that he thought he could beat you in from Dominoes, Solitaire, Poker he played them all and would read your hand quicker than you can.  He loved watching movies, martial arts in particular, and action movies. “ Shottas” is one we can all remember that he wore out for sure.

Daleroy and his wife Danielle L. West - Stewart, were married in Dallas, TX on April 18, 2008.  He was a member of The Apostolic “AFRC” in Vero Beach, Florida.  In continuation of serving Christ he also became a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Dallas, TX.    Daleroy was big on family and loved on everyone any chance he got.  .  He was not much for talking but once you got him started, better listen and pay attention bc it wasn’t going to be long before he had you laughing.  On Good times or bad he would always make us laugh.  We will truly miss His contagious smile, sense of humor and those big bear hugs he would give out.
