I still cannot wrap my head around Sonja's passing. I miss her, with new hind sight, I regret that we weren't able to get together on those several attempts of planning last year. Sonja and I go way back to my days at Sabre - to when Ryland and Reid were babies. In fact we had our babies within months of each other and shared in our new experiences as young mothers. Thanks to Sonja, we kept in touch, even as I left Sabre in 2002 - she was that kind of friend. Sonja was an inspiration, a private person, a silent leader and an awesome mother and friend! I will miss her dearly! To Ryland, Reid, Mary and family, please accept my sympathy for your loss. Nic Dudley

My deepest condolences to Sonja's family. I first met Sonja at Sabre about the time she had Reid. Reid and Ryland were her pride and joy. I enjoyed hearing her updates about the boys as they grew older. I'll always remember going to lunch with Sonja at the Sabre cafeteria. The cafeteria would be crowded and noisy, but when I looked over at Sonja, she would have her head bowed in prayer. Every time. She never forgot. I remember once when young Reid was with her, and they held hands while they said grace together. She was such a wonderful example of faith and giving to her boys, and to us all. I miss her.

Words can't explain the sorrow I felt to her of her passing , and to only find out 1 day before was even more sad, but to have know her was to love her and to hear that sweet soft voice. I had known her since J.N. Ervin and our Skyline days, she was my seat buddy of 3 years to and from school, but the impact she made on everyone she met will always be remembered, and I say this in parting you have took the bus to Glory save me a seat .........

We have known Sonja and her boys for many years. Our son, Cole, and Reid played baseball together on and off on various teams for the past 7 years and most recently with the Patriots this past summer. We remember her as a sweet soul who was so dedicated to her sons -- always kind and positive. The thought of not seeing her at baseball parks in the future watching our boys doesn't seem possible. We pray that you rest in peace and know that you will be proud watching over your boys who will go on to do great things in your honor. Godspeed Sonja The Kracmer Family

My deepest condolences to Ryland, Reid and the entire family. Sonja taught me so much about parenthood... I'm still in disbelief.

To all family and friends of the deceased, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Many have found true comfort in the pages of God's word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). In God's word we find the promise that we can be reunited with our loved ones (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15). The Bible tells us where this happy reunion will take place (Psalm 37: 11, 29; Matthew 5:5). We are told why we die (Genesis 3:17-19; Romans 5:12), and that Jehovah, the God of the Bible (Psalm 83:18), will end death forever (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3,4). At John 8:32 Jesus said " and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free". For more information please visit the website jw.org.

We are so saddened by the loss of Sonya, as she was a big fan of her boys on and off the field. We will miss you, and will continue to cheer your boys on doing what they love. RIP

Dearest Hicks/Hunt Family, You are in my thoughts, heart and prayers during this difficult time. Sonja was a beautiful woman who will be sorely missed by so many. She was my lunch buddy for almost 10 years and I was the one who took care of her new-hire business when she started at Sabre so many years ago. I'll miss her so very quiet voice (in all the years I knew her, I never ever heard her raise her voice), her ordering all the lemonade-no ice drinks, french fires swimming in ketchup, all the days we came to work wearing almost the same thing. There are so many things I will miss about her, but most of all, I will miss the friendship that we had. Rest in Eternal Peace Sonja,, I love you!
