Dianne Duncan was born on February 6, 1958 to the parentage of Henry Duncan and Juanita Hoover in Dallas, TX. Dianne attended Phyllis Wheatley, J.N. Ervin and W.H. Adamson High School where she graduated in May 1976. She began working for Dallas County Community College on July 27, 1977. She remained there for 32 years until she retired on April 30, 2009 from Richland College.


Dianne passed away on July 11, 2024 at Medical City of Dallas after a short battle with cancer.


Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Juanita Benjamin and Henry Duncan; sister, Ronelda Boston; uncles and aunts: Edward Hoover, Jr., Lorraine Hoover, Gussie McDonald, Delores Love, Julia Viney and Carmena Adams.


Dianne leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Dwinn Johnson, two daughters; Deanna Reed (Michael Jones) and Addriena “Deon” Duncan, son, Justin Johnson, two grandchildren; Derrick “DJ” Reed, Jr. and Daniel Jones, three step-grandchildren; Aaliyah Jones, Elyonna Jones and Michael Jones, a special grandson, Chance Bennett, three sisters; Valetia Hoover (Bobby), Mary Ellen Booncharoen (Art) and Stephanie Summers (Jason), three brothers; Henry McGill, Byron Scott and Henry Duncan; and a host nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
