Alice Marie was born May 27, 1955 in Dallas, TX to the late Elmer Booker and Alice Booker.

She attended Dallas Public Schools and went to “The Great” James Madison High School. After

high school she met the love of her life. They married in 1971 and were married for 53 years. To

this union were born three daughters and one son.



Alice worked for Neiman Marcus and Xerox before becoming a housewife and childcare

provider for over 30 years. During that time she cared for numerous children. She grew up

attending Kirkwood Temple CME Church. In the mid 90s she joined Cedar Crest Cathedral CME

Church. She regularly attended Church School and was the women’s class secretary, she was

the treasurer of the Usher Ministry, Preschool Vacation Bible School teacher and served in other

functions when needed.



Alice Cole is preceded in death by her father, Elmer Booker, mother, Alice Booker, son, Bobby

Ray Cole, Jr., and three brothers, Elmer Booker, Jr. , Gary Booker, and Michael Booker.

Alice leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories her beloved husband, Bobby Ray

Cole, three daughters, LaTonya Cole, LaToya Johnson (Kristopher), LaCoya Williams (Van),

seven grandchildren, Jamar, Kristopher, Jamarion, Kristian, Krislon, Kristal, Xolani Joy, one

great grandchild, Kavon, one sister, Winnie Booker, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and

friends.
