Fred Paul was born on April 1, 1948, in Maringouin, Louisiana, to Batt Paul Sr. and Amy Lee Crawford Paul.
Fred attended Rosenwall High School, where he was a member of the football team. Fred never met a stranger and found it very easy to hold a conversation with anyone he met. Fred had a heart of gold and did not mind helping anyone he could. He will truly be missed by family and friends and especially those at the Dallas VA where he was a dialysis patient for 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his siblings: Batt Paul Jr., Leroy Paul, Amy Agnes Christopher, Pamela Jean Long, Lillian Mae Hawkins and Melvina Paul.
Fred leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Vicki Paul; his son, Christopher Jackson; stepdaughter, Chelsea Carter; two grandsons, LeDerrick Carter and DeAndre Bullard; two sisters, Wanda Patterson and Mildred Ann Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
