Obituary of Leroy Cunningham
Leroy Elliott Cunningham was born in Bryan, Texas on December 17, 1994 to Iney Clark Cunningham Sr. and Ruby Lee Elliott Cunningham.
He was the 3rd of 13 children. He except ted Christ at an early age at West Union Baptist Church in Bryan, Texas. He was a 1963 graduate of E. A. Kemp High. He attended Mary College in San Antonio, Texas before joining the Navy.
He married the love of his life Glenda Lorene Nunley, June 30, 1973 and to this union one son was born Stephen.
Leroy’s pastime was sitting in the garage listening to music and enjoying the neighbors. Most of these memories were shared with his best friend Morris Hawthorne. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Iney Cunningham Jr., Billy Joe Cunningham and George Gregory Cunningham.
He leaves to cherish hi memory his beloved wife of 42 years, Glenda Lorene Cunningham, son, Stephen Elliott Cunningham, another son, Broderick Brigsby (Taliesha), 2 granddaughters, KaNesia Cook and Spencer Ellise Cunningham (Buddy), one great grandson , Kaden, siblings, Curtis Wayne (Jhery), Lawrence Arthur (Laverne), Linda Ann (Jerry), Yvonne Inez Gary, Ruby Sherryl, Frank Douglas (Cynthia), David Boyd(Melinda), Vita Jeanelle (George), Ramona Lee (William), a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
