Obituary of Clarissa Yvette Polk

Matthew 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom My soul is well pleased! Clarissa Yvette Williams-Polk was born January 1, 1961, to Yvonne Williams and the late Nathaniel Williams. Rissa, as she was affectionately called, was the second of ten children. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Dallas, Texas, and was blessed with one daughter and a beautiful granddaughter. Clarissa worked as a Data Entry/Accounts payable clerk for Lincoln Property Company. She also loved to sew and was a remarkable seamstress. Clarissa was a sweet woman and would help people in any way she could. She loved to cook and bake for family and friends. A woman of great faith and integrity, Clarissa was saved, sanctified, and filled with the gift of the precious Holy Ghost. She attended Full Gospel Tabernacle New Testament Church under the leadership of the late Pastors O. C. Mosley and Fessona Moseley. She Joined Full Gospel Holy Temple in 1996 under the leadership of the late Apostle Lobias Murray. Following his passing she continued to be a dedicated member under the leadership of Apostle Herman L. Murray, Jr. Clarissa Polk was granted her angel wings on September 28, 2018.Preceding Clarissa in death were her father (Nathaniel Williams) and brother (Sterline Williams). Clarissa’s legacy lives on through her loved ones: Her daughter, Kyler Polk; granddaughter, Mackenzie Freeman; mother, Yvonne Williams; two sisters – Jacqueline Williams and Elaine Williams; and six brothers – Nathan Williams, Malculm (Theresa) Williams, Frederick Williams, Cornelius (Jessica) Williams, Byron (Stephanie) Williams, and Jeroid (Ashley) Williams.
