Obituary of Henry Agers
Henry L. Agers was born on January 7, 1953, to the parentage of Elmo and Annie Agers in Waskom, Texas
His parents later moved to Dallas, where he joined Liberty Baptist Church. He attended Dallas Independent School District, John N. Bryan, O. W. Holmes, and graduated in 1972 from South Oak Cliff High School. After graduation, he attended the School of Mortuary while employed by Haggar Apparels, Inc. He met and married the love of his life, Quennie Johnson, and to this union, two children were born: daughters, La Ronda Richards (previous relationship) and Chenikqua Agers; and son, Keith Agers. He joined the Triumph Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as Usher. “Bobo”, as we all know him, loved fishing and just being Bo.
Henry is preceded in death by his wife, Quennie Agers; his parents, Elmo and Annie Agers Sr.; and brother, Elmore Agers Jr. His legacy and fond memories will be cherished by his daughters, La Ronda Richards and Chenikqua (Raymond) Petry; son, Keith Agers; granddaughters, Aranesha Agers and Raegan Petry; grandson, Ashton Agers; four sisters, Brenda Hurd, Doris (George) Hawkins, Barbara Standberry and Blonda (Clois) Cox; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
