Obituary of Paulie Floyd Mr. Paulie “Paul” Floyd was born on September 17,1965 in Benton, Arkansas to Mary Vivian Rhodes and Paul Floyd. Paul received his formal education in Wilmar Public Schools and was a graduate of Wilmar High School in 1983. He served in the Army National Guard in Arkansas and in Texas for six years. He met and married the love of his life, Charlesetta Session on June 4, 1988. To this union, four children were born. Paul loved hunting, collecting guns, and riding his motorcycles. On any given weekend, during hunting season, he could be found in the woods of East Texas with cousins and friends enjoying his favorite pastime. He had an avid passion for his pet poodles, London and Pepper whom he had a knack for training. Paul never met a stranger. One of his friends once said if you met him, you instantly liked Paul and if you didn’t something was wrong with you. He had a very giving heart and didn’t find anyone he was not willing to help. He was truly one of a kind and found joy in taking care of his family and helping others. His gift of generosity was demonstrated to all who knew him. Paul was a father figure to so many and he will truly be missed. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Preceding him in death were his father Paul Floyd and stepfather Lloyd Clifton. Paul leaves to celebrate his life and legacy his beloved wife of twenty seven years, Charlesetta Floyd, sons Branden Floyd (LaToya), Tristan Floyd, Taylor Floyd and daughter Peyton Floyd; two grand daughters, Brookelyn Taylor Floyd and Amina Bre’alle Floyd, his mother Mary Vivian Clifton, brothers James Jackson (Debra), Leodis Jackson, sisters, Odessa Shorter (Gary), Angelette Joyce Nash, Charmella Ware (Brett) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, family, friends and co-workers that loved him dearly.
