I am very sorry for your loss. I know you are going through a difficult time right now and I wanted to offer a brief, encouraging message from the Bible. John 5:28, 29 and Acts 24:15 show a promise from God that can give us much comfort and a hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones again soon. There, it speaks of God’s promise of a resurrection. When you have a moment, please take a look at those scriptures in your Bible. I’m sure they will be a source of comfort to you at this difficult time. The Bible also gives us a hope of a time when we will be able to live in peaceful conditions without sickness, pain, and death (Revelation 21:4) I’ve attached a link with more encouraging scriptures. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/

I was saddened to hear that Mrs Canady passed away, and am so very sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Mrs. Canady who was my 7th, 8th, and 9th grade homeroom teacher at Sequoyah Jr. High School from 1961 - 1964. Always thought she was a remarkable woman and wonderful teacher. Please accept my sincere condolences, and may God bless and comfort you. Janice Winston-Mickels
