Obituary of May Taylor May Helen Taylor was a wonderful, gracious and godly woman. She was born and raised in Newton, Mississippi, to the parentage of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Ware, Sr. She attended Pilate High School in Newton, Mississippi. May moved to Dallas, Texas, where she joined Richard Paul Taylor in holy matrimony on June 18, 1971. May was the lovely mother of two wonderful children, Carolyn Raquel Taylor and Sterling Lawrence Taylor. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church under the pastorage of Pastor Wallace, until her passing. She was called home on June 12, 2015. She leaves to cherish her memories, her one and only lovely daughter, Carolyn Raquel Taylor; son, Sterling Lawrence Taylor; daughter-in-law, Shaquanela Taylor; god granddaughter, Kennedy “Tooda” Debose; her four sisters, Martha Ware of Dallas, Patricia Crockett, Sandra Ware and Annette Johnson, all of Newton, Mississippi; and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; her two brothers, Willie Lee Ware and Ben Ware, Jr.; and four sisters, Allean Griffin, Juanita Bridges, Bennie Shelton and Theresa Ann Ware.
