Obituary of Danita Orlett High

Obituary of Danita High Danita Onlett High was born September 7, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, at Parkland Hospital to the parentage of Henry and Jean High. She was educated in the Dallas Independent School District and graduated from Madison High School in 1981. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age at Homeland Street Missionary Baptist Church under the former pastorage of T. R. McNealy. She remained an active member on the Usher Board and served anywhere she was needed in the church under the present pastorage of Donald Beck. Danita worked over 20 years at Chase Bank and several other financial institutions. She worked at Winzer Corporation until her health failed. She was a person that never met a stranger and would help anyone she encountered in need. That spirit, drive and her smile led her to start a food ministry of which she was very proud and to which she was committed. She was preceded in death by her special friend, Anthony Modkins; and grandparents, Louise and Bonnie B. Bonner, and C. H. and Claudine High. Danita leaves to cherish her precious memories: her mother, Jean High; father, Henry High; three sisters, Angelina, Crystal and Candace; nephew, Gavin Malach Jackson; niece, Skye Smith; stepdaughter, LaTonya Glenn, and her children, SamaJ, Regene and Skyelar; god sister, Kenyatta Silas, and her children, Keiyanna, Kristian, Karlee and Davyn; all of Dallas, Texas; as well as aunts, uncles and a multitude of cousins and friends.
